Nico is an endangered Spanish Colonial horse. This is a critically rare type of Mustang with fewer than 3,000 left in existence. He was bred in Nebraska by one of the few breeders that remain, which has since closed at the passing of the owner.

As we develop our equine therapy, we hope to get Nico back into the dressage discipline where he was previously trained to second level. With luck, and support, we hope to get him show ready for any young rider who is willing and able to ride beyond therapy sessions.
