Why It Works
GoatSense incorporates several research-based learning strategies proven effective, then teaches the parent, therapist, or educator how to apply those strategies to the lesson. In the example provided above, you find an example of scaffolding. Many lessons use the animals to provide an easier, more straight-forward approach to social engagement through animals then build on that knowledge to apply to peers.
